Patent technical brief and feasibility review
Adjustable solid commodity measuring device.
A single-chassis measuring utensil for dry goods, using slider-driven adjustment, density-specific scale markings, and a spring-detent lock to hold capacity under scooping force.
Dry goods only
Built for rice, flour, lentils, peas, and other solid commodities.
The design intentionally avoids liquid-measure sealing problems. It focuses on stable particulate isolation, repeatable weight conversion, and a scraper boundary that keeps powder and grains inside the active chamber.
Animated 3D design
The attached video shows the intended product motion and form language.
Outer vessel
Transparent cup stabilizes the dry material while exposing the internal movement.
Thumb actuator
The handle slider selects a measurement and visually aligns to the scale.
Moving boundary
The adjustable wall/base changes the usable volume for repeatable measures.
